We welcome anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding* any age of child, from all backgrounds and cultures, whatever breastfeeding looks like for your family and whatever your family structure.
During a meeting, we invite everyone to introduce themselves and their little ones, we ask you what's going on with breastfeeding for you at the moment and we offer you the chance to voice any worries, joys or wonderings, then invite others to share any experiences that might be helpful for you to hear.
As LLL Leaders, we can also share up-to-date research-backed information so that you can make informed decisions. We believe that you are the expert on your family, we love the variety of experiences that we hear in a meeting and encourage you to take on board what feels right for you and your family, and simply leave the rest behind. There is no one right way to mother through breastfeeding.
*Perhaps for your family it's not necessarily breastfeeding, but maybe exclusive pumping or chest feeding, or combi-feeding. We are here for you if your child is receiving any amount of human milk, or if you would like them to, and we look forward to meeting you.
