The ARU Breastfeeding Support Hub is committed to supporting those who wish to feed their baby human milk. Running from our Cambridge campus, we offer free face-to-face lactation information, support and education to families in our local community.

Are you an expectant or new parent who wants to provide human milk for your baby – and would you like more information or support?

We welcome anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding* any age of child, from all backgrounds and cultures, whatever breastfeeding looks like for your family and whatever your family structure.

During a meeting, we invite everyone to introduce themselves and their little ones, we ask you what's going on with breastfeeding for you at the moment and we offer you the chance to voice any worries, joys or wonderings, then invite others to share any experiences that might be helpful for you to hear.

Our free in-person groups provide support, information and encouragement for anyone who is breastfeeding.

They are led by our La Leche League (LLL) Leaders who are accredited breastfeeding counsellors.

We also run a zoom online group once a month. Our LLL Leaders can also provide breastfeeding support by phone, video call or online between meetings.

To find details of our upcoming dates and more information visit our Facebook page or website.

Our Chill & Chat groups are informal, free, stay and play sessions. They are designed to be a relaxed, non-judgmental space for you to meet other local parents and chat with our NCT Peer Supporters.

Peers can offer information, support and a listening ear, however you are feeding your baby.
